Team-Based Structures, Protocols and Problem-Solving Skills for Effective Collaboration

Abstract

This chapter examines commentary claims and empirical research on the role of team-based structures in effective collaboration, such as meeting and problem-solving protocols. Here we are focussing on methods of interaction that support collaboration, and the benefits and challenges of implementing them with integrity. Given the lack of models in HE (Norton, Sonnemann, & Cherastidtham, 2013), the literature in this chapter is predominantly school-based.
