Abstract

The thoracodorsal artery perforator flap first reported by Angrigiani was based on the latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap. This flap which was supplied by thoracodorsal artery retained latissimus dorsi muscle and thoracodorsal nerve, so it was suitable for repair of trunk and limb defects in pedicled or free form, and also for repair of maxillary defect with scapula.
