Abstract

Wireless mobile ad hoc network is a combination of free mobile devices, able to communicate using wireless channel. In addition of that, the mobile devices are direction independent. Therefore, routing is backbone of new generation wireless communication technology. That is also responsible for network organization, and governances of network. These devices are developed with limited resources such as battery power and computational ability. Therefore, utilization of these resources is required to optimize for less resource consumption. The presented paper, introduces a new routing strategy for minimizing the energy consumption in wireless ad hoc network Using CPR routing technique with the help of traditional AODV routing technology. Additionally that include the implementation of the proposed routing technique and results analysis is also provided. According to the archived results, the performance of the traditional AODV routing is improved in terms of energy consumption and packet delivery ratio.
