Abstract
According to the analysis of the SNS of MAF in Chaps. 1 and 2, the SNS of MAF reflects the swarm intelligence in a networked way. It can enable every member to assess the influence of its future behavior to the whole formation based only on the present and past information acquired from local interaction in a short time. In formation flight, the maneuver of collision avoidance of local nodes could lead collision in other parts of the formation. The SNS should cognize the characteristic of the formation and assess the influence of chain effect to the formation. To accomplish this assessment, the SNS should enable a single node to cognize its status in the networks and its relationship between other nodes and offer collective cost information to every node in autonomous flight formation control.
