Abstract

The range of physiotherapy is extensive such as sound therapy, phototherapy, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, cold therapy and thermal therapy, which is an inalienable part of rehabilitation medicine and plays an important role in modern and traditional medicine. It is used to treat many kinds of diseases in all disciplines. The methods and mechanisms of physiotherapy are introduced in physiatry that is chiefly compiled by Jiao Zhi-Heng and Fan Wei-Ming. It is published by Science and Technology Literature Press. We don’t discuss these in our book.
