Abstract
Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are a kind of functional RNA molecules that are not translated into proteins. There is now a large number of evidence suggests that ncRNAs are associated with various disease processes including cancer. Follow the rapid development of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, a large amount of ncRNAs has accumulated in a short period of time. To date, many ncRNA-related databases have already been developed. Here we systematically reviewed these specialized ncRNA-related databases, and we expect these databases could serve as useful resources for researchers to further investigate and explore the associations between ncRNAs and human diseases.
