Abstract

A metro tunnel is the section tunnel between two adjacent stations. It is a super long and linear structure connected by the lining ring extending in the longitudinal direction. The lining ring is assembled with the shield segments. The shield segment is a reinforced concrete structure, whose steel bar is like the bone of a human being and concrete is like the muscle on the bones.
