Abstract

The flight control system is the UAV core component, the civil UAV flight control system is studied in this paper. In view of the current ArduPiloMega open-source flight control system has the disadvantages of measurement is not accurate in low altitude height and cannot realize automatic obstacle avoidance technology, the ArduPiloMega hardware and software system design is improved in this paper, the ultrasonic ranging sensors of a temperature compensation and automatic obstacle avoidance function is installed, the driver is modified, through the software to achieve the switching of barometric altimeter and ultrasonic sensor. To overcome the defect of measurement in low altitude stage is not accurate and cannot automatically avoid obstacles, make the small unmanned aerial vehicles take-off and landing more safe and stable. And the flight test was carried out to verify the improved flight control system, the results show that the theory and method are correct.
