Abstract

Throughout Chinese history, never have we been so aware of the importance of oceans today, nor have we ever been so close to becoming a maritime power. Ocean researchers like us should have the sense of responsibility as well the confidence to take on historical tasks trusted upon us in this crucial time of China’s ocean strategy development. Today, I’d like to talk about oceans on the following four subjects.
