Abstract

In the past, the alar-columellar complex has received relatively little attention from Asian rhinoplasty surgeons. More recently, increasing number of patients have voiced desire to correct primary alar-columellar disproportion as well as secondary disproportion due to nasal tip plasty. Because of this, Asian rhinoplasty surgeons have begun paying more attention to alar-columellar relation, with advancements in operative technique.
