Abstract
Nagaland is situated in the Northeast of India comprises of hilly terrain. Landslides occur frequently in the hilly mountains of Nagaland due to development process as well as other factors. Major cause of landslides in the state is triggered by rainfall infiltration. Buildings are constructed with poor engineering input without any regulatory framework.
