Abstract
A general notion of stability says that a system is stable if after being removed from a stable state, the system returns to the original state provided no external input is applied. Another general notion of stability is called BIBO stability, i.e. bounded output is obtained as a response to any and all bounded inputs. There are several methods to investigate stability of control systems. Application of these methods is shown through examples.
