Abstract
In 1930, more than 95% of the world’s energy consumption depended on the supply of coal, oil, natural gas, and traditional biomass, while in 1990, the energy supply included other energy forms such as nuclear energy, hydro energy, wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, and biofuel. Coal, oil, and natural gas are the driving force for world economic development. With the increasing energy dependence in social and economic development, ecological environment is increasingly constraining energy development. In the future, world energy consumption will continue to grow and the contradiction between supply and demand of world energy resources will become increasingly prominent.
