Abstract

The aim of a control system is to ensure reference signal tracking as well as disturbance rejection. The control system has to meet various quality specifications. Control is realized generally in closed loop based on negative feedback. An error signal is created comparing the measured output signal and the reference signal, which acts as an input to a controller unit which modifies the input of the process. The properties of a closed loop control system are analyzed.
