Abstract

Cloud-Assisted Electronic Eye Doctor for automatic glaucoma screening which uses an expert system is proposed. The expert system is used for diagnosis, which uses databases of specialist knowledge to make decisions or offer advice to user or doctor. Data including patient’s medical state and fundus image are generated, medical records are gathered and delivered through the cloud tier in the cloud, and the investigation of fundus images is performed. A cost-effective mean for glaucoma screening is presented facilitated by all over access nature of the system via cloud platform allowing the disease to be discovered earlier and enabling early examination for more efficient intervention and disease management.
