Abstract
The Serial equivalent model (SEM) of short-primary linear induction motor (SLIM) was established. Impedance parameters was theoretical analyzed, and primary input frequency, current, power, thrust, factor-efficiency were iteratively calculated. The overall performance of SLIM was evaluated according to given top indicators. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA) were carried out, and the results were compared to the actual application tests to verify the consistency of design and real get.
