In view of the above shortcoming, eddy flux observation in tropical, subactic regions, and in disturbed ecosystems should be strengthened in the future. With the accumulation of observation at these sites and the synchronous monitoring of environmental and human factors such as nitrogen deposition and vegetation succession, future studies are expected to more comprehensively understand the regulatory mechanisms of the spatial variation of ecosystem net production.
