Abstract

In this chapter, a brief introduction to nuclear reactor theory and mathematical modeling of nuclear reactor, especially the movement of neutrons, is given. Some basic concepts related to the anomalous diffusion, continuous-time random walk are explained. Also, a review of the various literature related to the applications of fractional calculus in nuclear reactor theory is presented.
