Abstract

There have been tremendous research results on chaos, bifurcation, control of chaos and generalized synchronization for \(1-D\) discrete dynamic systems [400–409]. In this chapter, we present our studies on the control of spatial fractal surface. Applying the Lyapunov first method, we deduce a sufficient condition for the system stability at the fixed point. With this approach, the control of spatial fractal surface is proposed in both global and local regions. In addition, our approach is proven to be available for the special condition of the systems, i.e., the control of chaos and bifurcation for the \(1-D\) systems.
