Abstract

Development of the discipline of “social systems engineering” is far slower than that of systems engineering in academic sense. It had been described in Chap.  2 that the United States published the first Handbook of Systems Engineering in the 1960s; it established the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) in the 1990s, and that Council had published several versions of Systems Engineering Handbook.
