Abstract
In this book, we have presented an approach that makes requirements engineering as the fulcrum for data warehouse development. The requirements engineering process not only addresses the issue of obtaining requirements, but, additionally, subsumes consolidation to make for an agile development approach to data warehouse fragments. Thus, three disparate strands, namely, requirements engineering, consolidation, and agile development are integrated in our requirements engineering process. The role of a decision is central to this: it requires information support as a single version of the truth through consolidation in an agile manner.
