Abstract
Due to the lack of adequate cell immobilization methods, AFM imaging of living mammalian suspended cells is still scarce. Here an immobilization method combining lateral micro-pillar/micro-well mechanical trapping and vertical poly-L-lysine electrostatic adsorption was developed, with which single living human lymphoma cells were effectively trapped for AFM imaging with high quality, facilitating further AFM morphological studies of living mammalian suspended cells.
