Abstract

This research paper presents a novel microstrip antenna array composed of four rectangular patches, developed on FR4 epoxy substrate with dielectric constant 4.4. This proposed antenna gives good results at 17.5 GHz. At this solution frequency, the reflected power (S11) of 36.5 dBi is obtained. The design and the properties of this antenna have been studied and performed using the HFSS software, and its application beam steering is studied on MATLAB software.
