Abstract
The mammary gland consists of skin, subcutaneous tissue, glands, and glands in the skin from the superficial to the deep. The glandular layer is divided by Cooper’s ligament into 15–20 mammary gland lobes in a radial pattern with the nipple as the center. In the role of hormones, the mammary glands have different sonogram in childbearing age, pregnancy, lactation, and elderly women. The main methods of breast scanning are (1) a radial scan from the outside to the inside with the nipple as the center and (2) from the outside to the inside longitudinal scanning, from top to down transverse scan. The two scanning methods can be combined.
