Abstract

Computed tomography is one of the most useful imaging tools in the armamentarium of a lacrimal surgeon. Improvements in techniques like the helical and the spiral CT scans have remarkably reduced the acquisition times. In addition better control with radiopaque dyes and three-dimensional reconstructions has facilitated diagnosis and planning of complicated lacrimal pathologies.
