Abstract

Ergonomics involves a multidisciplinary approach that requires knowledge from several branches of engineering and sciences. The paper proposes a literature survey on computer-integrated techniques for the identification of industrial ergonomic factors. The motivation behind the paper is to review the applications of software packages in research papers of different authors to design the industrial workplace. The increasing complexity of industrial ergonomics is continuously evolving new challenges for the researchers. Ergonomics aims at safety, health, and efficiency of the worker. Therefore, the accessible evaluation instruments and strategies should risk chance variables that are in charge of musculoskeletal issue. It is important to check just the accessibility of techniques and apparatuses that consider the most up and coming. The article will subsequently break down and evaluate the powerful modeling and simulation software packages and programs. In the light of these observations, the authors find diverse applications of various programs. The computerized human model, likewise manikin, is a key some portion of human displaying programming. Digital human modeling (DHM) is an advanced representation of the human embedded into a virtual environment to encourage expectation of well-being as well as execution. The examination of the literature uncovers qualities of the methodologies, which have been connected by a few researchers to enhance the viability of people in their working environment. General, perception considers costs, capacity, and versatility for the best option to the needs for establishing intervention. This review summarizes the results of analyzing 83 papers, articles, and books. From this literature review, we ended up recognizing the role of software in the implementation of several software packages on workplace environment for the safety and efficacy of the worker.
