Abstract

This chapter looks at the Central Catchment Area, arguably Singapore’s most important forested area. The secondary forests of the Central Catchment Area from Adam Road off Bukit Timah and MacRtichie Reservoir to Upper Seletar Reservoir forms a large green space where hikers, cyclists, history buffs, nature photographers, fitness enthusiasts, retirees, expatriates, golfers and other stakeholders form an organic thriving community of users.
