Abstract

The CT scan on the next page shows a skull fracture. The skull is an important part of the body because it protects the brain from external hazards. The skull prevents our brain from getting damaged every single time we bump our heads. Thanks to the thickness of the bones of the skull and the skull’s round shape, our brain is well protected.
