Abstract

Chapter 9 examines the Senkaku (Diaoyu) Islands dispute between China and Japan, assesses Zhou’s views on the dispute in the light of the current Chinese policy on this territorial dispute, and explores how President Xi Jinping should learn from Zhou’s stance on the territorial dispute.
