Abstract
In the 30-year reform and opening up—a new long march, China overcame all difficulties and obstacles to successfully achieve various historic missions for promoting development and reform through opening up and made remarkable achievements, becoming an important beneficiary of economic globalization. Practice proves that taking an open development path is the most important hallmark of the “China Model” and creates a successful case of leapfrog development in the world. China will conform to the new trend of economic globalization to push forward a new round of opening up in an all-round way and continuously break new ground in the opening up.
Wang Zixian (1963–2015), former Deputy Director, Policy Research Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Contract Research Fellow, PhD in Economics, University of International Business and Economics, research direction: international trade, macro economy, etc.
