Abstract

Center axle trailer train simulation model was established by using TruckSim, in order to promote vehicle standardization and application. Simulation of single lane change test were carried out to research its driving stability. Driving stability test system of center axle trailer train has been set up for handling stability and lateral stability test. The correction and reliability of vehicle simulation model was verified by comparing the simulation and test results. Simulation model could reflect the behaviors of the center axle trailer train. The results can provide a model for the centre axle trailer train driving stability simulation and can provide technical guidance for vehicle performance research.
