Abstract
Taking the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Zhongxuan Street (the intersection in front of the Municipal Government) as its research object, this paper studies the traffic conflict characteristics of vehicles going straight and turning right at this intersection with post-encroachment time (PET), classifies the conflict characteristics by time and space, and finds out the time periods and space regions for severe converging conflicts with 1.5 s as the threshold of PET.
