Abstract
We summarize this book and make some remarks on electro-osmosis of polymer solutions. In the linear regime, the polymer usually suppresses the electro-osmosis. Strong polyelectrolyte adsorption can reverse the direction of electro-osmosis. In the nonlinear regime, hydrodynamic interaction between polymer and surface become important, and it makes electro-osmosis nonlinear.
