Abstract

Seelight is a software tool for complex optical system modeling and simulation especially for laser simulation system, and user can build and analyze the complex optical system in a visual environment. This article will describe Seelight in detail. First we will discuss the architecture of the software. Then we give a detailed description of Seelight characteristics such as a rich library of models using for build complex systems, the high-performance computing system, the method of multichannel atmospheric transport, and simulation method of non-ideal light source. Finally we will see the performance of the Seelight through two simple examples.
