Abstract

One essential problem of cloud manufacturing is how to make full use of cloud resources,in order to meet the requirements of practical applications in the field of computer aided manufacturing. In this paper, we present an efficient virtualization solution for sharing resources, which is able to manage and monitor the performance of virtual machine (VM) under the common hardware environment with using the application program interface of Libvirt, machine management can be achieved efficiently. The kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) technique is an open source server virtualization and is employed for manipulating VMs. Better virtualization performance can also be acquired in the kernel mode of operating system. Especially, our method is based on web technique. User resources management and monitoring of VM are all achieved under the web environment. We demonstrate our results to show the validity of our scheme and provide qualitative evaluation to our method.
