Abstract
In this chapter, we explore the dynamics of the Liberal Studies and MNE policies using Ball’s policy cycle. Concepts that we have introduced in the literature review in Chap. 2, such as how a policy is an interdependent and ongoing process and how it narrows the traditional gap between policy formulation and implementation, are studied together with the findings reported in the previous chapter. The two subjects are discussed in parallel to render comparisons and contrasts possible. Their implications for local curriculum policies are then presented, followed by possible directions for further research.
