Abstract

Turbine protection system is very important for safe running of turbine. On the bases of actual works which consist of conventional island development of modular reactor, fossil-fired power plant design, and conventional island review, this article analyzes the characteristic of the small modular reactor turbine, and coordinates the procedures and regulations of protect system of turbine. It describes the constitution of turbine protection system in detail. Then in accordance with comparative analysis, it puts forward the design project of turbine protection system of modular reactor. According to the requirements of standard specification and practical engineering design application and combined with the characteristics of small reactor, the protection scheme of small reactor turbine is put forward. Finally, aiming at the basic technical requirements of the turbine protection system, the article analyzes the present state of the technology, discusses the selection problem of the turbine protection system, and lays the foundation for the future selection of small reactor turbine protection system in actual engineering design.
