Abstract
CAP1400 steam generator outlet nozzle is a non-axisymmetric structure, which is not suitable for the traditional 2D model, so it is necessary to carry out the finite element analysis of 3D solid structure. Based on three kinds of software Solidworks, Hypermesh, and Ansys, the stress and fatigue analysis of the steam generator outlet nozzle was carried out. Then the stress distribution, the maximum stress, and the fatigue coefficient of the nozzle are obtained. The result was evaluated by the ASME codes [1].
