Abstract

In present day China, listings are not monopolized by traditional brokerages, and most real estate agents are not competent enough to provide quality offline services. The brokerage industry defined by open listing contracts is chaotic and inefficient. Therefore, Internet companies can penetrate into this market more quickly and reorganize the industrial chain to a greater extent than they can possibly do in the US.
