Abstract

This article proposes an advanced converter technique that integrates all major ports in that double unidirectional source port, one battery port for (charging and discharging), and a single ideal power consumption port (load port). A new multi-port DC-DC power converter is developed when added to a pair of semi conducting switches and a pair of PN junction diodes to a basic half bridge (HB) converter circuit. Zero voltage conduction (ZVC) is performed on every major switch. This technique is implemented for savings huge number of component count and to reduced losses obtained from renewable energy applications.
