Abstract
This chapter introduces the linguistic norms of native Chinese, such as non-inflectional morphology, aspect prominent, monosyllabism, paratactic syntax, etc. All these norms can be useful for differentiating translated Chinese from the non-translated Chinese. It presents some linguistic features which will be the focuses in the exploration, and also explores the framework for describing the hybridity features in translated Chinese.
