Part of the book series: Power Systems ((POWSYS))

Abstract

The chapter deals with stator winding faults. Assessments of different types of stator winding fault are discussed in this chapter. Both steady-state and transient current-based diagnosis are covered. Sequence component-based stator fault diagnosis is presented. Park plane is sometime used for fault diagnosis. Different wavelet transformation techniques are used for stator fault diagnosis.
