Abstract
In this research, we have made a study how to decide the live-migration destination on our proposed disaster recovery framework for e-Learning environment. Our main research is to build a framework of disaster recovery such as against earthquake, tsunami and heavy flood for a LMS (Learning Management System). A current proposed framework is based on private cloud collaboration on the several private cloud fabrics. The virtual machine that drives a LMS is operated on the private cloud fabrics. When the private cloud fabric is affected by the natural disaster, these virtual machines which are operated on the private cloud fabric are migrated to other private cloud fabric safer than affected site. However, general live-migration method does not have a selecting rules for taking the safest destination under the disaster situation. In this paper, we propose a selecting method of deciding live-migration destination under the disaster situation. Our propose method uses a weather information and emergency alert information for deciding safer destination. And, we show the configuration of prototype system. Then we show the experimental results on the prototype system.
