Abstract
Pomona College’s vision of a liberal arts education embodies the principles of critical thinking, character development, and improving the world through the use of high impact practices, including international study. The College continues to pursue excellence and diversity, while expanding global educational opportunities. The challenges that Pomona College has faced in implementing these programs have possible implications for liberal arts colleges in East Asia.
