Abstract

Cloud computing using large scalable and virtualized resources provides dynamic services over the Internet. Scheduling plays a vital role to get the maximum benefit from the resources by efficient utilization. Most of the scheduling methods do not consider deadline and user priority. In this paper we propose a new scheduling algorithm based on deadline and user priority. The experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm executes all the jobs within the deadline with a high degree of resource utilization.
