Abstract

This study has involved an investigation into the pedagogical practices of three White teachers who are committed to the project of implementing multicultural education in their classrooms and schools. As a researcher I sought to understand what was pedagogically possible for teachers who are embedded in sociopolitical contexts that, among other things, are anti-immigrant, anti-bilingual, and pro-White American.
