Abstract
This chapter tracks the use of reasoning to resolve conjectures that students proposed while using Cuisenaire Rod models to compare the sizes of fractions. The conjectures deal with whether it is possible to build models, the sizes of the models, and whether whole number operations can be applied to fractions. Three VMCAnalytics are referenced in this chapter; they are in the Video Mosaic Collaborative.
