Abstract

Throughout my childhood and early adolescence, I attended a number of different schools. In many of those schools I met some children who extended a hand towards me and became my friends, but I also often met other children who were not as kind. Some of the aspects of my comic “First Day of School” are loosely based on a few of those experiences.
