Abstract

I hear these phrases and phrases just like them from friends, family, and strangers in daily conversation. People say these things with positive intentions and as words of encouragement. I can personally recall countless times I have tried to make light of situations with people in my life by telling them that happiness ultimately comes down to a conscious choice.
