Abstract

The thought of Boaventura de Sousa Santos covers diverse issues and discussions related to epistemological theories and practices. The amplitude of his work, with its undeniable quality and range, allows us to consider its value in different fields. For this collection’s concern – the relationships between thinkers, their thoughts, and education – I aim in this book’s chapters to reveal the more relevant aspects of Boaventura’s work through the possibilities of its appropriation in education.
